THIS 51 IS SETTING ON TOP OF A TOYOTA PICK UP CHASIS WITH A 4 CYLINDER 20R MOTOR AND A MANUAL TRANSMISSION.

THIS TRUCK IS EQUIPPED WITH A 1949 MERCURY DASH, 1957 BUICK BACK BUMPER, 1955 CADILLAC FRONT BUMPER, 1970 TORNADO HOOD FOR THE BED COVER AND THE FENDERS WHICH ARE EXTENDED WITH 1949 WHEEL OPENINGS GIVES THIS TRUCK THE NICK NAME MUTLEY.

This Cadillac showed up last week at our local saturday morning car show. Really a sweet car the Interior is amazing the paint is cracking a bit here and there but its got a lot of character.

1939 Cadillac LaSalle 2 Door Coupe.

Original Flat Head V8 Engine. 3 On The Tree Manual Transmission.

Strong Running Engine Not sure if paint is original
One of 3,531 Built 72 years ago. Car is in great shape. Garage Stored. Would not take much to make it a show car. In its final years, the LaSalle once again became more Cadillac-like in its appearance and details. The narrow radiator grille opening was retained and was flanked by additional side grill work. Headlights, which had moved down and been secured to the “cat-walk”, were again attached to the radiator shell. One interesting feature, adopted by LaSalle in these years, was a Sunroof, marketed as the “Sunshine Turret Top”. Sales again climbed in 1939 to 23,028. The final 1940 LaSalles were introduced in October 1939 with, as it had in its first year, a full array of semi-custom body styles, including a convertible sedan. Harley Earl also oversaw this redesign. The LaSalle emerged with a smooth-flowing design, its trademark thin radiator flanked by a series of thin chrome slots, giving it a futuristic look[
